Great stuff!... but I think you mean 'the Biff'
Brisfit was a post WWI name given to the aircraft that the war veterans didn't like much. To its crews it was affectionately known as the Biff smile

I think in modern world this plane is known like "brisfit". Even in wikipedia article the word "biff" mentioned once, but the word "brisfit" mentioned three times.
