Very nice damson! Your mission showed a lot of BMS goodness there!

Way over in Perth, Western Aus...
Excellent - I normally don't like background music in sim videos because most overdo the volume and I like to hear the radio and other sounds but this music was good and not too loud and the video was great!

Excellent video!

So much more immersion than the other one. I may need to reinstall...

Sweet video and awesome mission as well! Should've marked the SA-2 sites on your flight plan so at least you'd know about your no-fly area.

As for the no-HUD landing, I do it all the time... in a Cessna! Would be interesting to practice more of doing so in the F-16. I also wonder if you could've contacted Kunsan Tower via backup radios? Anyway, sweet to see "not so perfect" missions. You brought the airframe home so good job!!

Hiding in the bushes
Thanks guys.

@mdwa - The first draft of the video was without the music, but I had some music tracks that I liked laying around that I found in the youtube's music library and I thought that maybe I should finally use them in some video. And that's how they ended up in there. I'm glad someone liked them.

@Ice - Thanks for the tips. Regarding the radio, indeed I could contact the Kunsan tower but I made one mistake which I could have easily rectified if my DED was operational. I set the CNI switch on the AUX COMM panel to BACKUP, I've entered correct frequency for Kunsan tower (292.3), left MODE knob was set to MAIN, but I didn't set the right MODE knob to MNL - it was set to PRESET, so instead of broadcasting on manually selected frequency I was speaking to someone whose frequency I had set on currently selected channel. If the DED was working I would see that frequency but because it was dead I wasn't aware of what's going on. I realized all that on my next flight when I was trying to figure out what I did wrong before.

edit: Also for my defense I rarely have to deal with such situations as I'm usually either bring the bird back 100% operational or ride a silk elevator. So for me it's one of the two extremes most of the time biggrin

I was only going to watch a couple of minutes but the video sucked me right in and I ended up watching the entire video. The music was good and the video was suspenseful enough to keep me watching. thumbsup
