Just purchased this game. Installed it as an admin. For both the base Ultimate installation and the latest 4.11 patch I receive this error message towards the end of the install process:




If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

OS: Win 7 64 Bit
Install Path: OBDSoftware\WOFF\ToolBox\WOFFToolBox.exe

This issue was resolved by disabling BitDefender for the install to finish.

I have noted that my install on Win7 shows the directories flagged as read only. I always thought this strange. I did a mass chage to remove the read only.

That said, The read only flag did not seem to impact the sim when running.

Just my observation

Has anyone else noticed this.

There were one or two AntiVirus programs that falsely reported the toolbox as a virus, no idea why as it's fine.
But yeah any issues disable the AV, or try excluding WOFF's folders (as per the WOFF UE FAQ

I was looking at the linked FAQ document and it says this:

there is no need for the CFS3 disk the Woff UE is standalone.

That is true, but legally you are required to own CFS3, as I understand it.

some people have set up new systems with no legacy of installed CFS3 and then they installed WOFF_UE and it ran fine. I believe it is only a legal licensing issue that you are required to possess CFS3. You do not have to install it, it seems
