I am getting back into DCS simming again and I am playing around with the Sabre as I think it is an interesting airplane and fairly friendly to get started with.

I am playing around with making smaller missions for myself, but I have one problem.

I cannot find out what units to place at the airport (and where) so that I can call in ground crew to give me electrical power smile

What units are needed for this?

What about units for rearm, refuel, atc on the airport?

Noob in current sims, but played tons of combat sims back in the 80's and 90's

Flying:
DCS World 2 Beta
Prepar3d primarily GA planes
Elite Dangerous

And I love games like XCOM, Fallout etc

System:
I7-2600k, MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X 8 gigs, 16 gigs memory,Thrustmaster Warthog, Thrustmaster MFD, Saitek pro flight pedals and TrackIR 5

3* Dell U2414H

You mean placing some stationary vehicles around for better immersion, or just being able to contact ground crew for all relevant tasks? Because, If it's the latter, You don't place any units but just assign the airport to the same coalition as Your plane ("red" or "blue"). Then and only then You can contact ATC and ground crew and call them for anything using communication/radio commands menu.

Such assignment is being done in mission editor after clicking on the airport and choosing correct colour.

Ok, will check this again tomorrow when I have time. I am pretty sure that the airport is blue in the mission editor.... Well something must be off.

Thanks for the help. I will report back on the results when I have them.
