I am much enjoying this Mi-8 - and I have recently endeavored to try the sling loading, which is quite a task.

Here's four and a half tons of pipes ready for delivery to a rail yard.



The sense of weight is very convincing as I lift this lot of the ground.



The slightest swing to this is apparent in the driver seat.



The final delivery. To be honest, I snapped the cable - haven't mastered this yet.



I need a decent antipodean multiplayer server with a war mission (like that awesome looking buddyspike server), if someone feels like dedicating all their spare time to that.

I'm gonna have to have a look at this, haven't put much time into the MI-8 so far...is that a built-in mission or user generated?

That's a quick self-made mission I spent 5 minutes rigging up. I haven't yet looked to see if there are any stock missions of such a nature. I understand there are some payware DLC missions for the Mi-8 soon to be released, some of which involve the collection/delivery of sling loads.
