Lies. Decided to do some glueing Get the finicky bits done so they can dry overnight. Boba Fetts slave ship. Once i got the spikes in to see how neat they fit..they were not coming out without busting, too much pressure. So they are now glued. Going to have to come back to that clear piece and decide if we are painting it, for now it will stay unpainted, my masking skills won't be up to scratch. Body all connected. The finicky bits, getting these pincers in were like trying to dock on the Space Shuttle with your eyes closed... ..and we are dead in space. Cut of the little nibs so the ball would fit in better and shaved of the paint hoping for a better contact. These will be the first bits to go missing i'm sure. Finally the legs come into their own! Done, all looks fairly well aligned. And there went 2016!

That looks great, the purple really lifts it. Are there any panel lines on the head that would take a panel wash? The base looks great, love the crushed car! Lovely photos too.

Put the 'lights' on and calling it finished. Sitting on the bench glueing to the base, such a finicky thing to stand up without support the bugger. We reckon it turned out pretty sweet Things we learned during the build. Buy more than one type of paintbrush. Get an airbrush kit. Have a dedicated work area, we built in the kitchen, outside on the porch and at our pc's. Don't paint were you need to glue. Always trial fit. Don't paint on stinking hot high humidity days. Other than that we had fun which was the main deal, and ended up with a pretty cool looking object and amazingly didn't get glue everywhere
