Hi all, Recently there was a thread which talked about using DSR (NVidia GPUs only) and how to set it up via the NVidia Control Panel or the NVidia Inspector utility. As you can see from my signature, my gaming PCU is fairly cutting edge (for now at least), so I thought I'd try it out. My monitor default resolution is 3440 x 1440 at 60 Hrz.
In NVidia control panel - select DSR factors and checked all of the boxes. Then 'Apply'. The screen momentarily goes black whilst the setting are applied. Fired up WOFF UE and in workshops, all of the new resolutions showed. I selected the maximum, which is 6880 x 2880.
I ran WOFF UE and WOW - pin sharp with a drop of only around 10 - 15 FPS, giving me around 50 FPS with a flight of 10 aircraft.
I'm not using NVidia Inspector, just the standard NVidia control panel.
Need to experiment more but I'm impressed thus far.

Sandbagger; I just read your thread and decided to try DSR out on my 980Ti. It works great with little to no loss of FPS. My monitor is running at 1920 x 1080. I'm not yet sure that it is a better image than it was without DSR. I may do some screen captures to compare the results, although I am not sure screen captures will reflect the difference properly. I can't say I see a significant difference at this time. What did you set "DSR Smoothness" to? Update: imaging is much better and performance very smooth during Quck Scenarios - Large Dogfight.

I too noticed the reference to DSR and I have been running my 2K monitor at 4K resolution. My 980ti does seem to be getting a bit more use, but it does not struggle by any means.
I do see a bit wider field of view, enough for me to keep running it this way.

Hi Robert For the time being I've left 'smoothness' at the default of 33%.

Hi Adger, Not sure why yours does that. My monitor is not a 4K, but despite that, I selected all of the DSR factors available in the NVidia control panel, then 'apply'. The only hesitation is during the WOFF UE 'loading screen, where I think the resolution settings are applied, as the 'sand timer' changes size during this. Maybe your monitor can only accept the increased resolutions for 2K only. If you've only selected 4K it might not be able to cope.
Just a guess on my part as I'm new to DSR as well.

Think ive got it. I had to change my desktop resolution from my native 2560x1440 to 4K (3840x2160). No more top left corner only showing,i now get full screen after ending the mission. What i was doing previously was just setting 3840x2160 in workshop and not on my desktop aswell Wow everything is pin sharp with very little fps cost..nice one gents

Hi Adger, Yeah that would do it. The workshop resolution setting needs to be matched to the PC desktop resolution, as it's always been with OFF/WOFF and now WOFF UE. Way to go
