What? No love for Ringo? Ringo is 2 years older than Paul.

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet. I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.

LOL Reminds me of "Baptist camp" when I was a kid in the mid 80's. We were warned about the evil Beatles and their Sgt Pepper's album cover, backwards masking, rumors of Paul's death, KISS and their lightning satan S's and such. All the kids loved it because it was a hoot.

Music for pussies, of course.
If the Beatles are music for pussies I would love to know what you think of Air Supply.

Well, I just don't play crap like that, and I prefer the Stones over the Beatles any day of the week. The Beatles really did too many sappy love songs for me, which explains why all the girls thought they were "fab".
I did have Beatles boots when I was about 7 though.

I remember school playground battle betwixt Stones & Beatles fans in approx. 1964. The hard boys liked the Stones and thrashed the wimpy Beatles gurlymen. Took over from the Mods versus Rockers faction battles.

Now that I think about it the Stones really didn't have too many sappy love songs in the early part of their career.
I personally like all of the Beatles albums but they definitely got much better and more mature in the second half of their career.

Just watched a BBC documentary on the Stones' South American tour. Amazing, the devotion of their fans, particularly in Argentina. The emotional reaction of the audience in Cuba, where their music was banned for so long was awe-inspiring.
We all know of the notoriety of Keef and Mick, but there is old Charlie in the background quietly drumming away for 50-odd years.
I only ever saw them once, 1969 Hyde Park, soon after Brian Jones was found dead. Well I said saw them, we were so far away that we couldn't see nuffink.
I remember an interview at the time, when Jagger said they would be fortunate if they lasted another five years.
