I just found these two mods. Gotta try em. They seem fairly old , though. Are they still usable and if so, what's the correct method of installation. One place says its "Mods/Tech..." but I don't see a "tech" folder. Do you make it? Thanks ahead of time for any answers.

Just an FYI...

The Tech folder will only exist if you own the Combined Arms module. It would need to be created if any mod wants to live there.

P-51 operations over Japan has always been a favorite topic of mine. I'm hoping that once I get these mods in the game that there are some missions involving escorting B29. F-86's, too. Superforts operated over Korea also, of course. Great mods if they work!

There are quite a few more too. Do a search for stuff uploaded by Markindel in DCS user files. Also a TU-4 variant of the B29 https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2032824/

There are some flyable versions of the above floating about in the mods thread of DCS forums as well but in general they have somewhat fictional load outs etc so may not be to your taste (tend to agree).

Also look for uploads by crazyeddie in DCS user files for some good ship mods and skins for the B17, DC3 and P38 etc.

Also worth digging through this thread https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=160234 as there are more yet to be uploaded as they are WIP.

Added an updated B-29 lua to the Tu-4 download above. Just copy/move it to the B-29 folder and replace the one that is there.

A B-17, too? Has anyone done missions for these mods such as escorting the B-17? Of course, I'll have to figure out how to get these mods working in the sim, first, before I can use them.
