Found an old picture of another one of my Dad's strange covering schemes. I have always found the covering was the hardest part, so I believe in keeping it simple.

Just perfect work!

I like it.

Looks like the bottoms of the wings are reverse colored from the tops. Easy to orient at long distances. I know a guy who also does this, using that sort of day-glow orange/pink/yellow to help him keep the model oriented while doing aerobatics.

The best colors for me are red on white, with mostly red. He uses a lot of pink and neon orange lately. The guys in his clubs razz him a bit about some of his schemes, but you have to able to see the plane. If I get a chance I get some more colorful pictures. He has 39 total planes in his basement now.

I also like the black and white checker board covering on the bottom of the wing, helps with orientation. Here's one of his normal looking ones. The cowl is actually a 64 oz. soda bottle cut in half. He doesn;t fly it because he says the light blue is hard to see. I agree.
