Greetings,
I played a lot of Links golf (PC) from Access software back in the day. It was a good beer and pretzels game. Very in depth regarding swing dynamics, ball address and stance to shape shots. After Access software sold out to Microsoft I purchased the first golf game from them, but it had lost it's charm. Later I started buying and playing the Tiger Woods PGA Tour games from EA Sports for the Xbox 360. They were good games and I enjoyed the ease of play and matchmaking on the console. From what I'm reading, the Tiger Woods golf games for the Xbox 360 are not compatible with Xbox One. If true, that is disappointing since the latest offering looks pretty weak in comparison. The Rory McIlroy edition is getting poor user reviews. There is not much out there anymore for golf games. Licensing is too expensive for the small developers so they use procedurally generated courses or use developer tools to craft their own fictional courses. That is okay, but the actual game play suffers in one way or another. I played one of the PC offerings recently and it was like getting in a time machine and going back 15 years.
Anyway, are most of the older Xbox 360 games playable on Xbox One? If not it's not a big deal, but there are a few older games that I would like to revisit.

Halo Reach and RDR work on the One, so the big titles are there. If it's not on the list it might be eventually, or might be patched in. Reach ran for absolute trash when it was first compatible but they later fixed it.

I received an Xbox ONe S for my birthday last month. Forget about Forza Horizon 3 or any Forza. I have FH3 for the ONe S. It is totally arcade gameplay. Gorgeous graphics -drop dead beautiful graphics- but arcade gameplay. It's a little bit better using the Logitech 920 wheel and pedal (I use the same one for PC racing sims) tdhan the One S gamepad, but it's straight arcade physics. After awhile you are totally bored by it. Get PRoject Cars and Assetta Corsa for Xbox One instead. I have both and they work perfectly with the Logitech 920. The driving physics are much more realistic and just like the PC (I have the same sims for my PC). The force feedback is even better with the Xbox One versions than the PC versions.
