Yesterday my brother in law rang my wife Very elated hardly able to talk.
Why, he had just won 82k on the Irish lottery well a bookmaker version of it
This is where it gets strange he never Gambles.
But was compelled by a reoccurring dream to place the bet.
In the dream his mother kept telling him to look at the grave stone.
He picked four numbers and only four numbers, in the bookies you don't have to pick six numbers on the Irish national lotto.
The four numbers he picked he got from the dates on the grave stone.
It couldn't of happened to a nicer guy. but here's to other strange think the amount he won was just about enough to clear his debts.
Which is great for him as he was informed his company will not be renewing his contract after Christmas needless to say he was extremely worried how he was going to manage with his age and poor health the chances of him finding new employment were very slim.
some of you guys may thing it was just a coincidence a random event.
But I remember talking to his mom not long before she died she was worried about her son health she used to say if only I could clear his mortgage and let him retire. take from this what you will I am a sceptic as well and probably would not believe it had I not
witnessed it and known the people involved. I cant vouch for the dream but I have known the guy for of twenty years he is not a Bull

Ha! Good for them, and right when they needed it.

"some of you guys may think it was just a coincidence a random event"

Humans are likely to continue to make new discoveries about energy and matter and time and space so then a person can certainly hold the opinion that there are forces in our world and through out the universe which we do not understand yet but may occasionally see evidence of, much in the same way as a geologist or say a chemist finds evidence of a previously unknown process. Evidence is left behind.

Can anyone truly say with certainty that those forces are simply energy and matter interacting in the cosmos or are there deeper or perhaps even spiritual forces at play ?

As we go through life each us must be his own judge of such things based on our personal experiences. As for my own experiences I can say that i have seen far too many of these "coincidences" for them to be imo - just coincidences.

Well I think that's awesome! People will believe what they want, that isn't important. The bottom line here is great news and a nice reminder of someone that's passed and looking out for a loved one.

Could not agree more it was a lucky break for a guy who really needed one.
The guy should not be working at all he has to have pain injections just to keep going I strongly suspect he was told to give up work but he is a hardy type of a guy and would put his family and home first.

But the whole he was helped from beyond the grave thing is freaking me out,
It goes against what I believe when your gone your gone.
Not saying there isn't a heaven or anything like that I do believe death is not the end only the beginning of a new journey.
My wife, and to be honest most of her brothers and sisters including Ger.the guy who won, are strong believers in the supernatural.
Have been trying to look at this logically.

Point one.
Yes it was a major concern to my mother in law that her son was in so much pain and still working
She expressed this to me shortly before she passed away as stated in my previous post.
but how many other moms out there worry about there kids finances no mater how old they are.

Point Two. it was not the first time he played the lotto but he would not do it to often.
But instead of buying a regular lotto ticket he used the bookies no big jackpots but much better pay-outs on lower number combinations
He would have got less then 1k using the official lottery for four numbers.

Point three.
He said he kept dreaming of the head stone and waking up covered in sweat nearly in tears. (I put this down to Grief)
I had dreams about my parent when they passed.
He went to check on the grave before he went to work all was fine according to him.

Point four.
Picking the numbers from the dates of the deceased on the grave stone, its a family plot there are four people buried there
Not sure if he used the day they were buried or the day there were born but I genuinely think it was a random act of pure luck.
My wife is ecstatic she is convinced it was her mother I am not going to burst there bubble with logic.

Allowing your beliefs to evolve shows intelligence and open mindedness. That's called wisdom in my book.
How often do we ever understand anything perfectly right off the bat? Never, IMO.
Interpret how you want, that's up to you. Something will feel right.

I've had dreams about my mother since she passed away too but not long after she died my mum and her mum came to me in a dream and I have never had dreams about her mum before. That was quite some years ago but still remember that dream quite vividly.
