So it's an old game. But it is a very good ww2 flight sim. So I was looking for a good ww2 flight sim and found a CD for cfs3 in a store for 4 bucks. I thought I might give this a try. I installed it the first time it was a mess. I uninstalled it with revo and I re-installed it with my anti-virus off. Then I changed folder permission to allow all for under under security. Since the CD game already was bought with the latest patch on it, I didn't need to install any patches. I have made my stock game look really good with the settings config and terrain and cloud mods. The campaign takes alittle getting used to but it is pretty fun. Yes this is the stock game!

Silly as it may sounds, back in the day I loved it.
Too bad I couldn't fly- not that it improved much with time but...

I was only a little pissed by the intro (shudder!) and the RPG component (did your pilot improve his eyes or G tolerance? WHY NOT BOTH? HE FLEW AND LOOKED RIGHT?!?!?!?)- but overall I played it a lot.

Dangit, I might have to reinstall this one. Anybody still playing around with the MAW/ EAW/ PAW mods that also came out?

The first flight sim I bought. Didn't last long on the HDD after I found Il-2 demo, no feeling of flight.
Will install when DCS WW2 comes out for comparison purposes, at least I can run it properly now.
