For years I have been wishing for "flight intergrity" within the squadrons (in the Campaign mode) as it, generally, was in real life. Losses, leave, transfers, new arrivals, not withstanding.

Don't know about kette integrity within the Jastas - JFM?

And now with ME we have a tool that can accomplish that. Always have the same flight members with you on campaign missions. Have not tried it yet but I think ME can do this no problem? JJJ65?

Course casualties in WOFF being what they are this is no boon to your poor AI flightmates, having to fly "more" but it will, if nothing else, be cool see how your mates progress, keep tabs on them, etc. Unless, of course, it turns out to be a wholesale personnel change every 5 missions because of losses.

Basically I feel you'll now have a (better) reason to try and take care of them as they will no longer be "semi-faceless" in the crowd coming (and going!) almost without notice.
Now to pick my flight members. Or better perhaps a random selection...

I have not tried that idea, but it does seem possible. I would guess that you be careful to correctly spell and place their names inside the ME when you are making substitutions - especially with historical aces. Then make a before and after comparison of several missions to see if the flight hours/kills/Medals/etc... are being recorded inside WOFF manager. I don't remember if you can see their flight hours.

Also, you can try to edit your waypoints and altitudes. This includes reducing the time required to loiter... make it 5 mins instead of 21 mins. Or expanding your route to patrol the front... The possibilities are endless.

Yes I have not had a real chance to delve into ME heavy besides making sure it works.
My first several UE missions were fine as generated (using modified Bletchleys mission mod) so I have not dug into it.

If you know: Can I add any members of the squadron to the flight or can I just a mashup just the flight members assigned to that particular mission?

Czech Rep.
You can add any member from your squad to your flight, however, he must be available (not on leave, wounded or already assigned to a mission). Or you can delete assigned pilots to get free positions and then select yours. Mission editor does it automatically for you - Just click Add Pilot button, Your squad roster shows up and then you can just by left mouse click select any pilot you wish to add to your flight. Detailed info window about selected pilot is shown and then you can click "OK" button and pilot is being assigned.

Yes, anyone that is or isn't on your squadron roster. You can even put Donald Duck, but be careful because if they're not part of your squadron pilots, WOFF manager will not give any credit to that pilot.

So, my suggestion is to make sure you spell the names of your squadron pilots correctly "First and Last" inside the ME.

EDIT: Donald Duck delayed my post...
