Hello Andy? (or someone else),
I want to use MaxiVista for my homepit to extract gauges and MFD's. MaxiVista isn't available anymore, they have discontinued it two months ago! I haven't noticed it, cause i was busy with building the inputs of my homepit. The website is now down. No way to get it now. I have even emailed the support of Bartels Media, but also no response.
My whole pit was built to use this software for MFD and gauges extraction. For the other simulators, like Falcon BMS, FS2004 or FSX, there are other possibilities to do that, but as far as I know, not for EECH AllMods.
There are some other software out there, which work in a similar way like MaxiVista, but none has all the possibilities of this program. The one that comes nearest, is DeskSpace, but it has no option to work with an SLI system (on the PC which does the simulation). The rest of similar software is totally out of date and mostly doesn't support 64bit systems.
Any suggestions how to get MaxiVista? Is there another company which still sells it? Is it still working? Because the server for registering it, will probably be down, too.
or
are there any other options to extract the gauges and MFD's to another computer? I wouldn't prefer the "second monitor at the primary graphiccard" solution, cause the whole pit is now based on the "extraction via LAN" method.
Because I'm using the second PC as a "Cockpit-Interface" machine, which also my whole inputs are connected and transfered via LAN to the "Simulation PC", this method was the clever once.
If there isn't any other way to extract the MFD's, I must go the "second monitor on graphiccard" solution, also this means to configure the whole pit from the beginning.
Regards Sven
P.S: Is it possible at all to go the "second monitor on graphiccard" way with EECH AllMods?
