Just bought WOFF UE. What I really wanted was a DVD Disc. I filled out each screen, assuming that the next one would ask me to choose between Disc and Download. But it never did. How do I get a physical Disc?

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But in practice, there is.

Yes!!!!!!! I have ran through the 5 times to down load and timed out or something else happen so my answer
was to spend some more $$$$ and try again.

On a good late evening or very early morning I can get 15 to 20 Mbps download speed.

How long would that take for this WOFF UE ?????

No physical disk anymore.
I think your dating yourself as internet downloads and no physical copies are a money saver for all the big companies any more.

This would be fine if I had unlimited high speed service but I don't and have passed up things before for that reason.

WOFF UE is obviously not in that category. Off to check...should be done downloading

Damn! Could I download it, then install it to an empty Thumb Drive, then burn a disc from the Thumb Drive contents?

If you mean download the zip elsewhere and copy it to a thumb drive for latter copying to a DVD (and to your hard drive for install) then sure.

Hi CW3SF! I'm on a similar connection. I've downloaded 4-5GB games before and it usually takes about 2-3 hours on average. Hope this helps!

I may hold off on my personal order until you decide if there will be a DVD option or not. If there is, I will pay extra for it. My download speed works just fine, but it's always nice to have the official DVD with cover artwork sitting on my desk to be seen just to max out on my obsession. LOL

Art work would be very nice, say the DVD and the DVD cover that one could download and print out.

This UE deserves better than sitting in a empty plain DVD case.

I'm busier than all get-out right now, but for CWS3F, if you want forward me your download link and a mailing address, I could probably get a DVD to you with your copy. If I did the math correctly, at 20 Mb/sec the downlaod would take over half an hour - IF it stayed at peak rate the whole time.

Or, Pol, if I made a DVD of my own download, could he use it with his order number?

We'll get it sorted out. Hauksbee, I downloaded the ZIP file, extracted it to it's own folder, and burned the extracted files to a DVD. There are only 4 files, but they'll pretty much fill a regular DVD. No artwork that way though, but as olddog said, that can composed, downloaded, and printed.

My ISP is just too slow to download a lot of this and I am extremely stupid with regards to computer stuff. I am an analog kind of guy! I am currently unable to 'fly' because of some computer bugaboo with the various downloads that I obviously haven't installed properly and can't seem to remove. I would gladly pay more than $100 for a DVD or thumb drive or whatever it takes to get EVERYTHING in one fell swoop! That will allow me to at least try to remove offending bits then try re-installs at leisure until 'the blind squirrel finds the nut'! Plus, once I got the DVD I wouldn't share it with anyone under penalty of death or of losing my BOC membership status!

"Working the DVD issue is Good Stuff" and as I have said along with others $100 is just fine as a price.

In my case, I am not a threat to copy a DVD -- hell I never have and do mot know how to do that. The "Dayton"
Crew will be happy to attest to my lack of computer skills.

Also if I spent about One Grand to work for several hours helping to get people in our booth it should show
my interest in WOFF and flight sims going back to 2003.

In any case I will not have WOFF UE until I get a DVD and worry not about the price or restrictions involved
with it!
