I wonder what species of Hawk that is?

I have Redtails, Coopers Hawks, big Harriers,
and several other smaller species here.
Never seen one around here with a red chest.
This might be a Redtail, I've never seen one close enough to tell what
colors the chest feathers are. I don't think they're red, not sure.

Yeah, Hawks are badass.
I have several feeders out there, lots of birds chirping,
and when a Hawk shows up to take a Dove, it gets really quiet.

Really quiet.

Really cool edits, lots of talent there.

The original is no southern American hawk that I know of. Very different coloring than any redtails around here.

The Star Wars throne room edit is my favorite.

Naw, none of them are right. This hawk is a
general on a hilltop pacing before a battle,
in contemplation, hands clasped behind his back.
He just needs a Napoleon hat, maybe a cape
fluttering behind in the wind.

Not many varieties of hawk have the long feathered
legs. That is more typical of eagles or falcons.
And I don't know of a falcon with that uniform
dark head, usually lighter with dark bands under the
eye. My first guess would be an african tawny eagle.
