I'm now seeing adverts for Spanx when I visit SimHQ. I wonder what algorithm is being used since I'm obviously not the target demographic for such a product.

I think I've mentioned this before.

One time, the moment I arrived at London and visited SimHQ, I immediately got ads for real estate in that city. Kinda freaked me out.

You should not have visited that porn site. smile

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

I'm not going to pass judgement... biggrin But in contrast:

I know for a fact that sometimes the ads not necessarily come from your browser or google history, I remember once that someone mentioned mosquitoes on a post and then I got served an ad for a mosquito repellent...

Which at the same time makes me think. That ad on the left is probably the first I see in my life that actually targets me! (or Paraguayans or Uruguayans, but that's about everybody that would buy a colorful mate cup).

When you're feeling sad, just remember that somewhere in the world, there's someone pushing a door that says "pull".

There are quite a few cruise lines that don't go out of any US ports. Costa used to be that way and then tried their hand in the Caribbean market for a while and then left again.

Except MSC sails out of Miami, which is why it surprised me.

Ah ok, then that is indeed surprising since I've never heard of them either!
