Har! I love it! Philosopher: "But when one tries to extend... one gets killed." Disciple: "Roger - I'll hide in the bushes!"
So the Thunderhawk would come screaming out of the sky at mach ohmygod! and as soon as the struts hit the ground they would rip off. You're trying to apply scientific principles to 40k. Do you not see the problem with that?

16 years? Good grief, still 'flying' on the SAS server, just about getting the hang of it.

Still on my hard drive... still good fun after all this time I have all the add-ons etc they put out. I remember being blown away by 'Forgotten Battles' and then even more so by the 'Ace Expansion Pack' and 'Battle Over Europe'... fantastic times for a flight simmer!

Great memories...thanks. This place was a great refuge from the Ubi Zoo and a great source of info. I remember UhOh7...flew with him a few times. That was when I was on Hyper Lobby using cast iron S. Louisiana dial-up! I couldn't fly that well but I warped really well!

Look for me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Tic Toc...or anywhere you may frequent, besides SimHq, on the Global Scam Net. Aka, the internet. I am not there, never have been or ever will be, but the fruitless search may be more gratifying then the "content" you might otherwise be exposed to.

Nice screens from memory lane. It was IL2 that got me back into PC sims and games.

My most prized computer game possession! Still works, I just have to set my date back to the spring of 2001 The whole thing is 375 MB Today with CUP mod and missions, paint schemes, etc., gathered over 15 years, it weighs in at 70.9 GB The planes and objects compare well with new stuff out now and if the pop-up distance were fixable there would be no need for any other WWII flightsim. From WWI to cold war and beyond, Olegs IL2 has it all.
