Greetings All,

As I can never just sit and take it easy I started another WOFF project this morning during one of my typical lapses in sound judgement. Who here can identify what facility this will be when it is finished? No prize, just bragging rights about how learned you are when it comes to WWI aviation. HINT: It's in England.

This will be, hands down, the largest facility I have ever attempted to build for WOFF. And yes, I am a glutton for punishment. biggrin

Cheers!

Lou

Upavon?

I got fired as the door man at a sperm bank.
Apparently it's in poor taste to tell leaving customers "Thanks for coming."

Oh yeah, right out of the gate AceMedic88, well done! It is Upavon, or to be more precise, the Central Flying School at Upavon.

Fantastic!

While you're at it, maybe you could add all the currently missing French and German training centres to the game too? It shouldn't be too much work for a man of your skills and sound judgement. biggrin

And the R. A. F. at Farnborough, Lou. Then I can go bomb it with an R.E.8 for some pointed irony...

Oh that I was back in the dear old PBI.
With no more Triplanes on me tail, nor tracer tracing by.
And no more flames and clickerty-clack and no more blooming sky,
And only a couple of feet to fall whenever I want to die.

Now THAT would be more than a little amusing to fly over some French field in your Nieuport and look down and see alien cut in the crops!!

Thanks folks, glad you all approve of the effort so far. As for the unusual landscape, I'm just building what is seen in old photos of the place, crop circles and all. smile2

Lou, this is really exciting. You're a real magician.

While you're making dreams come true, I'd love to have a Farman to tool around with here. (Okay, too much, I know)
