My first American N28 pilot campaign. We got swarmed on our very first patrol so I was totally defensive almost the entire engagement. No sound again so I added in Matt Milnes incredible music.
Always when I think your vids are among the best I've ever seen, you come up with an even better one. You should do that for a living and OBD should use your vids for advertisings. Absolutely impressive. It catches the whole spirit of what WOFF is. Absolutely wonderful. You should spread this vid everywhere on any site, in facebook and other Forums.

June mission with the American 27th Aero. So I see the Albs below us and in attempting to break formation to engage, I damn near run into a wingman, missing him by what must have been inches. I expected my flight to engage, but they did not. They maintained their modest altitude advantage and just headed off, leaving me in another swarm. I tried to drag the Albs back to my flight, but no dice. They were gaining ground too fast. Nothing to do now but turn into them and keep them guessing about where I'm headed next. I tell you, nobody can make you feel more defensive than swarming WOFF AI. 13 minutes of pure hell.

Hellshade How do you find the Nieuport 28 as a dogfighter? I recall reading that it was a disappointment (falling well short of expectations like the Albatros D.V) Do you feel that you can confidently go toe-to-toe with Albs?
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But in practice, there is.
Good videos all Yes, those AI squadron mates that tend to sod off and leave you to your fate... an all to frequent occurence, the bastages! lol! If this was for real, I'd be spending half my time at the front getting into fights in the mess bar every night!
Well, Edward didn't last long. He jumped in on a couple of observation planes and got jumped in turn by a gaggle of D.VIIs. He put up a pretty good fight, shot down one but got hammered by three more. In evading, Edward spun twice and survived somehow only to get riddled as he was trying to set down in No Man's Land.
Over on the American side, Dan is really loving the SPAD. This thing is a tank!
Check out the wing damage; very very cool.
Back in 1916, Ingvar is with Jasta 10 now, but can't seem to escape the EIII. At least, the N11 (or worse) seems to be a rarer sight than over the French lines.
And Adam (and Harry, a non-DiD RNAS pilot) continue to battle it out at opposite ends of the line.
By the by, I like the N28. You just had to be real careful of getting the nose down. That thing oversped in a heartbeat!
Many great screen caps in here guys! Thanks for posting and sharing.

Thanks to everyone. Creaghorn, I would post the video elsewhere but the WOFF forum is the only place I have an online presence. I'm not on any other forums or facebook. I'll have to leave to the rest of the WOFF community to spread the word and please feel free to use my videos anywhere appropriate. I don't feel as if they're "my" videos anyway. They belong to OBD and the WOFF community.
Wow another cracker Jammer thank you. I know the work that goes into that and it's tremendous!
Thank YOU and OBD. I hope y'all don't get tired of being thanked for this fantastic sim. Thanks also for thinking enough of the video to put it on the website. I enjoy making videos but I do miss flying campaigns while working on them!
Hellshade those are all great shots, but I love the last one the best with all the dirt spray from the strafe! Cool!

Second mission of the night - June 4th - we encounter a flight of Albatri. No biggie. Our flight against theirs. Then I get separated and it's me against a lone Albatross. Cool, I can do this! Wait...there's another...and another! It just kept getting worse! No sim makes you sweat like WOFF 3.

Just watched the video Jammer ... wow, jaw-droppingly good. You do amazing work. Any WW1 aviation buff that sees it will want to try WOFF immediately, so I hope it somehow gets widely seen.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.
