If one wanted to get an aeronautical degree where would one go to get the best education for the dollar?

There was only 16 squadrons of RAF fighters that used 100 octane during the BoB.
The Fw190A could not fly with the outer cannon removed.
There was no Fw190A-8s flying with the JGs in 1945.

Embry-Riddle is probably the best known.

Where are you looking to work on this? Canada or across the border?

Embry Riddle is of course the most well known but pretty expensive. A number of other universities offer an aviation program. What is your ultimate goal with this?

I don't know about the pricing, but I do know of two schools in Indiana that offer great degrees in aviation.

Indiana State University Aviation

Purdue Polytechnic Aviation and Transportation Technology

Purdue's a pretty good school if you can't afford Embry-Riddle (and few can...)

Embry Riddle is the place to go if you can afford it, unfortunately its extremely expensive.. I graduated from there in '05.

Other schools to look at would be UND (University of North Dakota), Florida Tech, Western Michigan or Purdue those schools are a lot more reasonably priced and have solid reputations too.

Thanks guys. So, E-R has a good rep.

The reason for asking is because there is this aviation 'expert' who posts on another board who says he went to E-R. His participation in a thread usually results in the thread being locked.

Did you look at that link I posted. Seems to have a good selection and based on location.
