The helos are used in a rather unorthodox way :-P

Question is if such an attack would be possible nowadays.
"Deep battle" relies on massing forces and striking at an enemy weakspot.
But with today ISTAR systems, such a massing of forces can be detcted before it becomes effective...the element of surprize is gone.
The attacking formation would likely be meet by a FASCAM mission to slow it down and then hammered with guided artillery ammunitions. After all, its a juicy target!!
