Hey guys,

Seems someone on the ED forums decided to make their own mod enabler, and it's pretty handy.

http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=171956

For me, the main benefits over JSGME include support for zip files (cleared up a ton of space on my SSD) and better support for multiple games in general. Should be pretty handy for those of you who are using JSGME for several different games at once!

Regards

Zip file support wasn't needed if the mods were created intelligently. You don't need to replicate the whole zip file in the first place since placing the modded files in a folder with the same name as the zip (in the same location) will override the files in the zip file automatically due to the way the sim already functions.

Otherwise, yes it seems to be a good tool.

Depends on the mod, of course! For example, my terrain mod is 2.81 GB using the method you described, 1.23 GB using rebuilt zips (LandTexturesSummerOther.zip, etc.), and only 999 MB using the zip support of OvGME. I also have 10 GB of liveries (mostly from Tom Weiss salute) that cannot take advantage of zip compression unless used with OvGME. Almost 9 GB cleared up from these two mods alone!
