I was test flying the Fokker DR1 in QC over Aertryke aerodrome in auto generated winter weather during a snow storm when I was pleasantly surprised by the night lighting:

Nice video Robert. Early morning flight near Albert a short time ago saw 3 search lights scanning the sky. WOFF is truly amazing.

Interesting. It appears that there are street lights, but no lights on in the buildings.

Well not sure what is going on.
Though looks like there was a Windows 10 update earlier today.
Same appearance on other SimHQ forums - but possibly not all.

This is what I am seeing

Hmmm, maybe it is a Win 10 issue. I am on Win 7. I do have a Win 10 boot drive so maybe I will go there, try it then apply the update you spoke of and see if that is the problem . I will post my results when finished.

Hi folks;

It is a windows 10 issue. I just applied the following windows updates to my Win 10 system and had the same problem. I can only suggest removing each update one at a time until the problem is isolated to a specific update.

Here are the updates:

KB3176493 - Cumulative Update for Windows 10 V1511 for x64 based systems
KB890830 - Windows Malicious software removal tool (Don't suspect this one as the problem)
KB3172729 - Security Update for Windows 10 V1511 for x64 based systems
KB3172985 - Security Update for Windows 10 V1511 for x64 based systems

I will try isolating which one is the problem and report back.

Well folks;

I ended up removing all the updates listed above and the problem did not go away, but I found out that the "Microsoft Edge" application (internet browser) seems to be the problem. If I use Firefox or Chrome, the youtube video works fine. I suspect that within the last MS update some changes were applied to the MS Edge app that is causing the problem, because it was working fine before the updates. Probably a hidden update change that hasn't been documented is my guess. Go figure!!

Hope this helps

Not using Edge - same issue for me with updated Chrome or IE.
(Though I just tried edge with the same results.)
Also have another browser, Maxthon, same results.

I can see all the Videos again.
I changed nothing, no update either, so I guess, it was just an issue of the Site itself...

God, it must have been awful flying in that weather for real... it makes me feel cold and depressed just watching it.

Yes the effects are very good... great lighting, vehicles moving around, very convincing.
