YYZ
I personally cant stand the thought of having one ... theyre too easy for road ragers to remember. biggrin

Sometimes, but VERY rarely, I see a plate that I personally think is too cool. I took this pic today ...

I mean, COME ON! ...

RUSH fan CHECK
Not being obvious by putting the word RUSH in there - CHECK
2112 fan CHECK
YYZ fan CHECK
Two of the most important prog rock compositions ever - CHECK
Putting the two together in a slightly cryptic but symmetric way CHECK

Brilliant!

It still comes a close second to this one I saw some years back, which I didnt take a picture of, so I had to recreate it ...

The most straight forward, legible and to the point license plate Ive ever seen. smile

Plates are allowed in MN, but the Plate frames are illegal. Hides the reg tabs to easily.
Lot of stupid out there for sure. See all kinds of nasty plates. Wondering how they pasted
through DMV checks.

Saw this guy yesterday TSRTIME That was his plate also... Black Tesla. Never really liked the guy before because of the TV ads and Radio ads. Should just show his car in the ads.

If you are worried about road ragers then perhaps you should take a closer look at your own driving habits.

My only vanity plate, when I lived in Jax. FL (that's a "5", "RSH 2112" was already taken)...

I admit, that "21YYZ12" plate is much more creative.

The ultimate mega-fan-only Rush vanity plate: D L & P. (Not all states allow the ampersand, NH does so I'd have to move back there LOL)

A little OT (I don't think the OP will mind), Pratt is done touring for good, his body just can't handle it anymore. They might cut another record one day and even play a rare one-off, but no more touring.

Dirk and Lerxst still want to play and even tour, I read that they're thinking about starting a new band, maybe include a drummer and lead vocalist. At first I thought meh, but then I listen to their debut album. It doesn't sound so much like Rush (including lyrically) without The Professor but I still like it.

Could be interesting.

These days I can't think about Rush without The Goldbergs coming to mind. Rush pops up a good bit.

I like when band members form side projects or new groups that sound nothing like their parent bands. Take Temple of the Dog - WTF was the point of people from 2 bands getting together to form a band that sounded like what they've both always done? When guitarist Adrian Smith of Iron Maiden put together a side project in 1989 (shortly before leaving Maiden), he gathered a few musicians he'd worked with before, along with some unknown dork drummer named Zak Starkey biggrin and formed A.S.A.P (Adrian Smith And Project.) A hard rock band that sounds less like Maiden is hard to imagine!

And the full album.

That Goldbergs Rush clip was hilarious! biggrin

Wife just dropped me off at my parents (she's off to LSU yoga class, just ~4 miles away) and I'm on Cox cable internet right now. Holy crap I forgot just how fast cable internet is, and I can see pics and videos!

These are my plates:

I originally asked for "AREA 51" but they told me I couldn't have it. Not that it was taken, but that I couldn't have it! heh.

Only super agents like Fox Mulder can have an Area 51 plate.
