Some shots of my Dad's old Goldberg Skylark. It's a kit build from decades ago. He has recovered it several times.

Very sweet old school RC airplane!

Love the color scheme! Nice looking plane. Goldberg makes some nice stuff. I had a Tiger from them (til I planted it!) that flew really well.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck.”

My Dad has several Tiger II's. All with interesting covering schemes. He is old school for sure. He has about 10 72Hz transmitters and recievers, and one 2.4 Ghz transmitter with 3, 2.4 Ghz receivers. The only reason he got q 2.4 Ghz is many AMA events require it now. The old days of wearing the frequency color on your antennae, and taking the colored clip off of the board are going away quick. Even the helicopters are giving way to the droids. The changes to the hobby in the last 10 years have been huge. I still love listening to and watching the old guys fly the classics. Here is a old Cub that he never flies.

What a great looking Cub. I love the chrome fasteners and fittings. That's the kind of plane I've have built (well I did half build a Guillows Cub as a boy) and flown, if I'd stayed with it.

Most of those I have followed who fly RC are also heavy into the quadcopters ("drones" is largely misnomer IMO).
