It would be an understatement to say that DC has a lot riding on this film. Every comic book movie in the past with a lead female character has tanked at the box office.

Gal is definitely cute but I won't be heading to the multiplex to catch this one.
As a boy, I was always indifferent to Wonder Woman. I didn't dislike the character, but she did nothing for me either. Even at the time, I just couldn't stomach the cheesy TV show.
This time however, I'm feeling completely different. Not only was Gadot the standout player in BvS, but this trailer was outstanding. I think I'm more excited for this flick than any of the others, including Justice League.
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." -- Ephesians 6: 12-13 KJV
More frickin super heroes... And one of the most boring too. Someone needs to go to Hollywood and press the reset button.

When superhero movies stop making money Hollywood will move on to the next big thing.

I guess I am a freak, but I love Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. I don't have arguments or reasons for forums, but I love how she is turning out based on Batman Vs Superman. I am ready for more.

Right there with you, the trailer looks like she does a good job, I also liked her small part in BvS
I think comics are our modern version of mythology, much like, say, the Greek gods.
I liked her in BvS even for the small character she played. This preview looks like this could be a fun movie. I wouldn't expect much more but that's why I see these movies; for the fun. I don't expect Schindler's List.
Not liking Chris Pine. Other than Kirk I haven't seen a character of his I liked. Even his Jack Ryan was forgettable and that's saying a lot because I like Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan.

I liked her a lot too. Initially sure was kind of Cat Woman, but then held her ground very well. Much more hardcore presentation of her than ever before. I wouldn't worry about previous female lead movies since there were almost no well done male lead superhero movies back then either. Plus, now there aren't many solo movies, most still have several heroes in there to keep things going.

I was talking strictly box office performance and not quality of the writing/acting.

Right, because people forget Hollywood doesn't give a crap about quality. Only profit. Sure, a director or writer or actor might care, but quality occurs despite the profit-seeking mentality, not as a result of it.

I haven't seen it yet. The Justice League does not look at all interesting to me nor does Batman VS Superman. Man of Steel was pretty good but I'm not sure if I'll ever see BvS. WW though looks like a fun super hero movie. The trailer gives me a feeling of the Captain America movies which I liked. Instead of Captain America fighting Nazis in WW2 we have Wonder Woman fighting Germans in WW1. It looks pretty good to me and it is quite a thrill to see such a beautiful woman all dressed up with supernatural abilities being elegant yet tough fighting bad guys in slo-motion or otherwise pulling off combat moves that with her beauty are mesmerizing to watch.

You'll like it! They did a really good job of it all around. As has been mentioned, it's really interesting seeing how naive she was, although not stupid by any means. She definitely changed over the decades since then. Gal did a brilliant job.
'i will be honest, i didnt though it was bad untill the #%&*$# third act,but it was good or serviceble, but certainly not worth of all the hype and praise and i will say this, i dont know why everyone compliments gadot.....the whole movie was carried by chris pine !! He moved the plot,he has lots of line, gadot was basically mute !! This should had been called the adventures of trevor and wonder woman. i will give them this though, they finally made the characters work ! kinda rushed and cliche with the dirty dozen guys trope but they have more chemistry then everyone in the previous movie !
