Was happily flying over Verdun (What a nasty mess down there!) with the Lafayette Escadrille during this pilots 17th mission a few minutes ago. Landed after a rather dull flight with no enemy sighted. Set up to go up again for the afternoon hop and the adjutant waved his chalkboard at me with the following message... "Fatal Error Setting Up Players Flight". This was after clicking on 'go to the field' during the 'Resolving Squadrons' loading engagement. After trying it a number of times and getting the same result, I tried a different Pilot Profile and that worked just peachy. Up, Up and Away. Tried my 3rd Pilot Profile and he too took off with no problems. Back to my Lafayette pilot and once again, he was given the 'Fatal Error Setting up Player Flight' wave off...

Anyone? Anybody? Should I telegraph Marshall Joffre? Alert Monsieur Clemenceau? Perhaps Inspector Clouseau? Ok, I'm desperate for another famous Frenchmen, so Jacques Cousteau???

This thread should really be posted in the "technical Issues" thread as it will get more attention of the OBD support group.

since your predicament is repeatable, I recommend you capture all the logs as is recommended in the WOFF FAQ section 53

Just recreate the error condition and then before you fly any further missions follow the above instructions and send all as an attachment to "Support@overflandersfields.com"

Thanks Robert! Wasn't thinking when I posted on Main Board.... Just put it on the Tech Board and will also do as you suggest with logging info...
