Is anyone planning a trip to either the Musée de l'air at Le Bourget or the Smithsonian Udvar-Hazy in the next while ?
Cheers,

And if it is really about the Caudron G4(finger crossed wink ), there are some photos by Russell Smith (the painter) here:

Or a Voisin? The Bourget has the nacelle of a type 10, Udvar-Hazy a complete type 8.

Le Bourget has one, but it seems that Udvar-Hazy don't.

It also seems that there are no surviving Salmson 2A2 either frown

Fonck was credited with one Albatros D shot down (shared with an american pilot of the N62) on the 17/03/1917.
It was its second confirmed victory. He was moved to the Stork after that.

Thank you, Stache - FB = FACEBOOK - could have guessed that.
But I'm no FBer, so they won't let me see it.

actionjoe, now we needed a list of all Caudron G.IV shot down by Albatros... biggrin

Well, no doubt Fonck was a remarkable fighter pilot.
And I love to see the Caudron in WOFF - it has a unique look; very special!

Well, on this same patrol, the gunner of Fonck's wingmen whas killed by an Albatros.
But it seems they didn't suffer as much as the BE2.
