Anyone running Third Wire products, original and new series, on Windows 10? Any issues?

Thanks.

Yes I have just fired up Strike Fighters 2 Europe on Win 10 and its fine no issues at all! My whole Win 10 install was completely painless actually - I think the only thing I had to get afterwards was a new printer driver that was it.

I have been away from my flight sims for too long its about time I got back into them. I love the Strike Fighter sims - exactly the right level of complexity as I loved EF2000 and Tornado. Those old sims were never massively complex but they certainly impressed me in terms of gameplay and excitement. The new sims that are around now like RoF and Stalingrad and CDS are just too complex for me and they never have decent campaigns with them.

Talking of which any chance of ever getting a Typhoon or a Tornado in Strike Fighters 2?

I Agree with nats Imiss EF2000 just like strike fighters has just the complexity I like I got Falcon 4 but it's a bit chunk for an old guy t0 bite off<Eurppean Air War is also better for me than IL-2

I am about to step back into the Falcon 4.0 fray I think (possibly - now its on Steam and Ive got a hold of the new patch), but I love the immediacy of the Strike Fighters games. The only thing I wish that keeps putting me off playing them is the way you die and have to either end the campaign or re-fly the mission. Wish there was a way to continue the campaign with a new pilot. This was and still is the main strength of F4 for me. Its practically the only sim where you can do that I think although Wings Over Flanders Fields allows it to some degree.

But yes otherwise Falcon 4 is a bit too complex - once you stop flying it takes a while to get back up to speed. Mind you its nothing like the present DCS sims which confuse the hell out of me. I havent got anywhere with those! Guess I am getting too old and have no time to get into new complex sims these days!

Although even when I was young and free I still loved the easier games like F19 Stealth Fighter, F22 TAW, EAW, Tornado, Gunship 2000 and EF2000. I miss those games! Although it would take me a whole evening to play a single mission in that old B17 The Mighty Eighth game - those were the days hen I had that sort of time to play games!

w10 is a disaster for me. none of my SF series works.
one exception is the Korea stand-alone mod. it works until
i end the flight then hangs.

Strike Fighter 2 has dynamic campaigns like EF2000/TAW correct?

So to use all those amazing addonslike Nato Fighters, one needs to buy $90 worth of expansion packs??

Nato Strike Fighters (for example)

To install and play this mod, you must have the following installed as part of your target installation base:

SF2 VERSION: Strike Fighters 2 Europe (SF2E), plus
Strike Fighters 2 Israel (SF2I), plus
Expansion Pack 1 (SF2I Exp1), plus
Expansion Pack 2 (SF2E Exp2)
PATCH LEVEL: Mar2012 or higher

This mod does support installations that include "Strike Fighters 2: North Atlantic" (SF2NA), however, SF2NA is not required.
