Thank's VBH. It is an excellent feature. At the moment I am just really testing the new exe. For authenticity we need the mid-upper turret removed. I doubt that we will ever have a real dam situation because of the sever limitations of the tile and height map structures. It is the same problem as trying to make real cliffs, so it will always remain just a bit of fun

I recall those tests based on what was the original intention of bump tiles. However, we gave up because the mountains they created were hollow and instead of crashing into a mountain side you flew through it. At the time Will could not see a way round that. In reality if you dam a ravine it creates a lake, with the original water course at a much lower level on the other side of the dam. I cannot see how EAW could possibly do this

Hi Guys,
Interesting project but one thought comes to mind. Assuming it is possible to build a "Dams landscape", can the program cope with the fact that it will take several good hits to break the dam, as in real life? Probably a silly question but I have no idea how it deals with damage.
Pete
