In these pics I made a 7 plane planeset, with aircraft from SPAW, DAW and Dunkirk

Planes are added to the lists by selecting a skin folder and a FM folder and double clicking on a slot in the first column

The seventh planes has just been added
I saved the planeset with the little checkbox checked. Saving unchecked it again.

Switching to the other tab I renamed the set and wrote some info.
I then made my selections of Midway, and an old map exe which Midway needs:

Then I launched EAW;

All the selected aircraft are in the air:

...and battle was joined smile

That is how it can be done, and it shows the flexibility of 150 smile

I might add that a 3dz modeler could go about checking a model in a very simple procedure.

1 - Drill down to any "skins" subfolder of Aircraft_Inventory, for instance "Malta140_Planes/ skins".

2 - Make a copy of any plane listed that has the same number of engines. This is so in the game the props will all be working. You don't have to select a plane from the same nation. As an example we'll take the first one "DAW 109B-3". You get a new folders named "DAW 109B-3 - Copy"

3 - Navigate back to the original "DAW 109B-3" and delete all of the .tpc and .3dz files. NOT the other files, the game needs those to function properly.

4 - Drop your plane into this folder, after first converting the files to the slotless naming convention.

5 - Open the picker program and select any planeset that includes the plane folder you just added your files to, in this case "DAW 109B-3".

6 - Start the game and select the correct plane from the selection screen. Instead of the listed plane you will see your plane.

Tip 1 - I make a shortcut of the skins folder on my desktop so I don't have to drill down every time I want to work on the plane. This makes the procedure as simple as dropping files in the root folder.

Tip 2 - Once it is set up I use this same folder for all of the planes I'm working on.

Tip 3 - Delete the working folder and rename the original by removing the "copy" text from the folder name any time you want to play the game with the original plane.

More complicated than dropping files in the root? Absolutely.

More complicated than an average computer literate person can manage? Absolutely not.
