Beautiful shots. When I opened your post the The Eagles immediately started singing in my head.

Any VR support in this?

I'll have to check. The only game that shows up as VR in my STEAM library is Elite Dangerous.

It supports VR very nicely in fact (I use the Vive). You just need to opt in one of the betas (in the properties of ATS in Steam) for VR, can't remember how the beta is called, and then to add -openvr as a parameter to launch it with (can be added using the properties of ATS in steam too) and you're good to go. I have not even played ATS once in non-VR. Euro Truck Sim 2 has got the same VR support by the way. I don't know why they haven't opted to showing it as VR compatible - I guess they didn't want to commit while they were still developing it, but they got it working for a while now (especially considering that ETS2 had VR support for more than a year now)

Yeah, ETS is very immersive with the Oculus........I assume the games are very similar - would you say one is particularly better than the other?....it does like like the graphics are a major improvement on ATS going off the screenshots.

Graphics etc about the same, I have ETS2 also. Different feel with US trucks, vehicles and scenery. Gameplay same also.
