Wow. The affordable $200 graphics card released by AMD today is somehow $370 in Canada. I know the exchange rate isn't great, but who are they trying to kid? I always try to support local retailers, but I think I'll walk by today just so I can flip them the bird.

Amateurs... In Argentina the R9 390 costs 560 USD. I don't want to know how much this new model will cost when it comes.
When you're feeling sad, just remember that somewhere in the world, there's someone pushing a door that says "pull".

Honestly its not a good card anyways. Looks to be on par with a GTX 970, give or take, with some extra VRAM. But almost two years later. Almost two years later and $350 performance is down to $260 or so. Not that great of a card. If you are like me and looking for an upgrade from a 970 this isn't it.
Now if your coming from a really old PC and need something at $250 I suppose its a decent deal. which to be fair, is exactly what they were aiming at, something that could compete with the 970 yet bring the price down, in which is it succeeds at. But yea, if you've already got 970s or better then its really not worth looking at.

It is an amazing mid range card for the price.

I used to live in Niagara Falls and just take a trip over the border... in the 90's/2000's Some hockey models were alot cheaper on the Canadian side, so we'd go across the Rainbowbridge and buy it. Granted now You'd need a passport.

Send Money to US Friend, have him buy, then forward ship it to you from his house.

Send Money to US Friend, have him buy, then forward ship it to you from his house. This is expensive. Unless you lie on the postage form and then you might have it seized at the border. I sent a steam controller to a friend and it cost more than the controller to send it to canada.

Ouch..... didnt realize shipping over the line got that bad, most of my hockey gear comes from Eastern Canada, and ships to USA Mid-East Coast... and most of the time shipping is free for me.
