90 minutes, nothing. 0-0.

105 minutes, still nothing.

Then finally, 5 minutes before the 120 minutes, things got interesting.

Croatia misses two shots scandalously, one hits the post, Portugal scores and Croatia misses again after that.

I could have saved 115 minutes of my life and watched the last 5 and wouldn't have missed a thing.

Hell, I think a couple of records were broken today. 90 minutes without a single shot at the goal
and Portugal is the first team to reach the quarter finals without winning a single game in 90 minutes.

Yep, the most exciting scene in the first half was the incorrect throw-in. smile

That must have been the most boring sports game ever, including the most boring events in synchronized swimming. biggrin

I am thankful though that Portugal won in the end, because that will ensure a quiet and peaceful night*. smile

*at least in Germany, Croats are infamous for organizing impromptu car convoys with lots of (non-stop) honking after every. single. insignificant win at a sports event. And there's quite a couple of Croatians living in Germany.

Others do it as well, of course, but Croats are true aficionados. wink

Why men throw their lives away attacking an armed Witcher... I'll never know. Something wrong with my face?

Hey! In sychronized swimming you at least get to watch real women do the diving!
