I made the original version of this for Col Gibbon a few weeks ago but he never used it.
As Mark, and maybe others, want to be able to test 140 skins they have made, or converted, then I have refined it this morning.

There is a "140SkinTest4.exe" available for downloading at OneDrive from the link in my signature.
Downloading and running it creates a standalone 140 folder:



Here I have run the "SkinTest140V4.exe", and knowing that I am about to test a P51 skin I selected the "Def_Skins\P51D_def" as the target folder and have navigated to the skin folder I want to test.
Steps 1 and 2 are complete:


So I completed steps 3 and 4:


I know my plane is in the p51D slot, so I select it and fly:

Looks good to me

As a convenience I have inlcuded the latest version of MogProg in the installed folder.
This will convert the files in a selected 1.2 type skin folder into a 140 version if you select "lane" from the planecodes list:
