I've bought the game some time ago, but only recently installed it and started playing it and I have to say it sucked me in.

I played the original Elite II: Frontier back in the day on my Amiga 500 and this new incarnation brings back many memories.

But that's not why I'm here. I came here to share that I've met Chris Roberts while traversing many of the star systems

Of course it's NPC but the question is if his name was the product of randomly generated name + surname, or was it intentional?

There's also a David Braben Kickstarter backers got to name NPCs, so that's were many of the 'silly' names come from.

2.2 Guardians has dropped and it's a rather nice update, before I moved into the new Beluga liner I took my Cobra III for one last flight.

The new interior for industrial stations, much more atmospheric than boring old grey (the commercial hubs look spectacular too)

btw seeing your dbx shot, it really annoyed me that they changed the colour. I assume it was because they are selling a yellow skin in their add on packs.

And I am pretty certain that David Braben flies under his own name.

Beautiful shots bailout, I saw my first 'updated' neutron star just a few days ago. Is that a black hole causing the distortion or just an interesting angle?
