OK here's a new one for me.Using windower I get a fair sized main screen make my choices and the flight screen snaps to the upper left corner..How in the heck do I get it to stay centered.Just don't like flying it there got my rez set yo 1024 x 768 in windower tried going to 0 x 0 just gave me a smaller screen but still snaps upper left...Flying fx exe,
Also I had to reinstall a few things and now EAW 1.4 is asking for the CD.So I downloaded 1.40 2016 and it's just the patches to up grade 1.40 to the latest I was trying to get all the installs off my machine and get current..BAD move. Thanks for any help.

OK fixed one problem wasn't paying attention looked at the 1.40 download and 1.40 is a folder there with 3 other files.now that runs sweet as usual and windower doesn't snap to the left it stays put.I think all my messing around somehow got a different exe pasted into my old 1.40..But FXEXE still snaps left.

Russ are you referring to the d3dwindower or the nGlide window?
nGlide defaults to top left but if you hit Alt-Enter it switches to the middle smile

wink Jel

When I clicked a mission nglide started fine and It snapped left,,,but Alt + Enter put it right.Just never had that happen before. Now I got two solid working installs 1.40 and FXEXE that's enough.

For sure But darned sure I'll make soild backups of what's running now.Trying new releases helps me learn a bit.I'll never be a modder but enjoy trying new stuff...Since I bought EAW the day it showed up in stores..I bought it in Miami Fla..
As a bonus I found a good 1.28 install that works and a cd with a ton of theaters on it.Got the dreaded 7217 error but used windower and it's good now.BTW something did indeed get crossed in my old 1.4 because I was getting the stock intro screen but got the right one now.....Matbe maybe a tad too much schnapps

I am currently uploading the folder I used for the "Camels in the desert" post.
There will be a dedicated folder at OneDrive because it is a very different set-up wink
