I'm adding this topic mostly so I have a future reference, but here's how to do it:

Download mscomctl.ocx, comct232.ocx, and comdlg32.ocx. I got them from http://www.ocxdump.com/
Copy them to c:\windows\sysWOW64\
In the search bar, enter "cmd"
Right click on the command prompt icon in the start window and select "Run as administrator"
In the command prompt window, enter and run the following three commands:

regsvr32 c:\windows\sysWOW64\mscomctl.ocx
regsvr32 c:\windows\sysWOW64\comct232.ocx
regsvr32 c:\windows\sysWOW64\comdlg32.ocx

Don't know if this is general knowledge, but there you go. Cheers!

Hi CJ.

mis read your post, but anyone who runs VB6 programs needs the Runtime6 files.

Check the link in my signature smile

The OAW runtime files installer is there, and that should do the trick.

Col., those are the three needed by the prog. I received a new computer for my birthday on the 1st, and I haven't installed much on it yet. But this is the manual procedure as it will likely be some time before I load OAW....

Cheers!
