Hi All, Hope those of you in the States are enjoying a great Memorial Day. After leaning out my own collection I thought of something I wanted to ask my fellow pilots. What do you play when you're not playing WOFF? My list includes other flight sims like IL-2 1946. There's a great and simple new addon called the vpmodpack that brings the sim nicely up to 2016 standards without a lot of fuss. I also have the old Strike Fighters series for the few times I get in the mood to fly jets and since I'll never have the patience to learn Falcon 4.0, they serve me well. I also spend a lot of time racing: so on PC I have GTR2, the Power & Glory Mod for some 1960s and 70s era sports car racing, rFactor with three mods installed (including the Enduracers series so I can drive Le Mans), and Race07/GTR Evolution. Lastly I have Battlefield 4 and Bad Company 2 and a handful of great Total War games like Medieval II and Empire and Napoleon. Over on my consoles I'm playing Star Wars Battlefront and I spend an inordinate amount of time digging into the F1 series from Codemasters and Project Cars. How about you guys? What are you playing during these hot summer days? Cheers!

I don't play much at all recently.
Apart from occasional WOFFing, I like online action in one of the servers for RoF.
A new game I will buy this week, is NAVAL ACTION - a sim where you fight for bigger ships and other goods in the Caribian Sea in the 18th century. Naval battles with sailing ships. You can try it alone, or you join a group - or sail as a pirate, against anyone else.

Divinity original sin EE,both me and my lad can coop we both love it. Pillars of Eternity..a cracking RPG if you like reading there's plenty too do GTA V..big budget yes but..awesome characters looks brilliant on a decent pc a fantastic game. Consoles..Red dead redemption on PS3,if only they did a remake on pc,it'd sell loads. Uncharted 2 and 3 on PS3 Ps4..The Last of us..I urge everyone to beg, borrow steal this title it's in my top 3 games of all time. Uncharted 4 a great way to end the series I'll leave it there Captain I could write a whole page myself of games Best regards Adger

The older I get, the more I realize I don't need to be Han, Luke or Leia. I'm just happy to be rebel scum...

I like the idea of a sailing ship sim, I'll have to check out naval sim. Otherwise the only sim I play are aerial. WOFF 1 is where I'm at, at present. But I can see I will have to update to 3. Other than that I still regularly fly (as in once a week) RB3D, EAW, MiG Alley and BoB II. Old games, but great.

XCOM2 for a while - looks super but there's too many thinks I personally don't like. I really dislike the oversimplified and hidden way it handles "action points" and then throws in a million bonuses to compensate. Also very annoying how it seems to provide instant tough enemies thhe moment you get a new gun or armour. The other thing is often there's a cool map/mission but they give you literally minimum time "rounds" to get the job done which forces you to rush into obvious battle and die a lot . Recently I found Wastleland 2 (Directors Cut version). Basically seems XCOM2 was inspired by the movement and cover system from this and the way it highlights you can move so far and still fire, or move fully and not. However Wasteland is far more absorbing game much more granular and you can tell the Developer added plenty of love into it - lots of twists and funny bits too. Need to manage ammo and weapon types - good challenges with some surprising alternative ways through. Action points are there so you can plan a little better. If you like XCom (and especially the old original XCOM) it may be something you like more.

Recent games which really impressed me are the new Doom and Dirt Rally. I also play Elder Scrolls Online occasionally , I hate its MMO aspect though and just play it as a singleplayer game.

ROF, CLOD, BOS/BOM, FSX w/ A2A planes, WOP, WOV, IL2 1946, WT, TS2016, B-17 Mighty Eighth, SH4, SH5, DCS, Scratches, RON, AOM, AOEI/II/III/, Dawn of Discovery, and a zillion things on Steam. Obviously, most of these are in a very long, elliptical orbit and aren't often visible with the naked eye.
