In case you were curious to know what kind of programming has the most popular appeal right now on US TV. I was really pleasantly surprised just how well the new X-Files episodes performed!

Oh, and this is only network tv in the list; no cable.

The only thing I watch on that list is NCIS. I also watch "Blue Bloods" but I don't see it on that list even though it consistently draws 10-12 million viewers....

This time of the year:
Game of Thrones (HBO)
Penny Dreadful (Showtime)
Preacher...just started, excellent
Arrow/Flash just wrapped up the season
Mr Robot...seems like season 2 should be coming soon
The Last Ship starting up very soon

Otherwise, I watch a ton of fishing and car shows, not to mention grilling/cooking shows. Love the Outdoor channel and Velocity. thumbsup

Then there's youtube where I've got a good list of well done channels that put out quality content.

Blacklist for me. The show hits it's points most of the time but the real reason to watch Blacklist is to see Raymond Reddington. James Spader always captures the screen and has created a remarkable character.

I think this is a more accurate list, at least it has "Blue Bloods" in the top ten:

The problem with that show is that NBC isn't DVR friendly. We fell behind on it, figured we'd save it for rerun season. Well, there's no secret not spoiled by the constant promos! Major spoilers! Kind of hard to get back into it.

The last NETWORK show that I watched religiously was the X-Files. biggrin
