I was wondering which sims offer the most extensive tutorial scenarios between FSX, P3D, XP10, and DTC FS? I used to fly FS9 and remember it had quite a lot of tutorials covering twin props and so on. I wanted to get DTC FS for the tutorial scenarios but after watching them on YT, it seems like it doesn't take long to go through them.

The lessons in FS9 with Rob Machado are also in FSX there just a little harder to find.

Once FSX is running down the left side of the main menu click on "Learning Center" then of the four tabs along the top click "Lessons" and there they are.

There not in P3D and I dont think theres any in XP10 so I guess the answer to your question is FSX.

For someone who has FS9/FSX, is the DTG FS a worthwhile buy? Or might as well stick with FS9/FSX?

Depends on what you expect. It's a nice sim lite with some nice scenarios, good graphics, and the tutorial part made me realise that I shouldn't use the throttle too much during descent and landing. But it's more of a gimmick than a full simulator.
Dovetail often gives discounts on their other titles - I think with the knowledge I now have I would've waited until it's 50% off.

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

I have FSX and even P3D and bought DTG FS. It's nice to go back to the basics. But I totaly understand anyone who doesn't see the point in getting DTG FS. It's a cut out part (very small part) of FSX updated with the current technology (64bit, DX11). So it looks really nice and runs great. Plus it's only 15$ and you still can fly all over the world.

You can easilly stay with FSX since it has a great flight school. It offers much more than DTG FS (it includes jets, IFR and much more). DTG FS is really aimed for total newbies.

I like it, i'am having fun just flying the Cub and i'am looking forward for the full sim later in the year. I hope they add tons of things that FSX has.
