I'm a slow builder, but here we go.
1/32 Trumpeter P-47 Razorback kit. Keeping this one pretty basic with limited aftermarket. Using Montex masks/decals.

i'll be using the kit cockpit. It has enough detail for myself. Decals used for the instruments, then I filled the round areas with future floor wax to recreate a "glass" look. I also applieda dark brown wash and dry brushed aluminum to add some wear to the floor and seat.

Next up is the engine. Not looking forward to it. Working on radials is not my specialty.

Very nice. I got to sit in the cockpit of a P-47 recently at The New England Air Museum. It was easier getting in then it was getting out of it.

Some engine work. First time using Alclad. This stuff goes through the airbrush amazingly smooth! Painted the cylinder heads dark aluminum. Second photo is me mocking up the different pieces, lots of pieces that need to fit snugly. Looks like I'll need to shorten the push rods. they seem to be slightly too long.

I also need to add a wash and drybrush the engine for some added weathering.

The tedious, frustrating process of wiring an engine. Just test fitting the work so far. Hopefully the work is worth the extra time.

Here is my work so for on the radial. I don't really enjoy building radials, so I'm trying to keep the mojo flowing. You'll notice some more wiring is needed. I'm not done with it quite yet.
It also needs to be weathered.

Still here and still trucking along with the kit. I'll try and get a photo or two on here soon! Thanks for the kind comments, everyone.
