Those guys don't get the point of the Alfa at all, I'd still rather have that over the Tesla. LOL As for the Bentley, couldn't care less so I didn't watch that part.

All this shows is just how far Motortrend has fallen, once a great car enthusiast magazine I used to subscribe to, now they just produce generic hit bait articles on electric vehicles and driverless cars which no true car enthusiast cares about... The Alfa might win, but the Tesla would not resemble a beached whale in comparison. The low center of gravity afforded by the low slung battery pack plus some really nice suspension (especially for an SUV) makes for a well handling car as well as a quick one. That's a positive thing for the Tesla, but that same battery pack is very heavy, and will affect the braking, and cornering grip on a track or twisty road in comparison to the 4C: Alfa 4C weight: 2,465 lbs 2016 Tesla Model X P90D weight: 5,381 lbs (hence the beached whale reference) You can't outwit physics, that's why sports cars and race cars are as light as possible. The Tesla is a fine car, but it's ridiculous to compare it to sports cars that weren't meant to drag race as they will beat it in the other ways that matter.

Bingo. A real sports car is about handling and low weight. If you want to drag, or impress us in a drag race get a muscle car or race a muscle car. I wonder how many cars they went through considering before they came up with the Alfa to fail that test? Might as well have compared beer keg capacity differences. (100 points for those that catch the reference there)
