Hello

Looking to try a Gotha career. Any tips?! Best time to start? Tactics when under attack?

My first attempt at a mission saw me get shot down after coming under attacks from 3 Sopwith Pups. We downed one of them though. Wasn't sure if it's best to try and 'evade' or just stay still and let your gunners shoot?

Also, are mission frequent in the Gotha? Like everyday or spread out?

Hi Gad..I've got a Gotha career going in August 1917.
You get daytime missions in early August and then you start getting nighttime bombing missions over England a bit later on.

The problem so far with the nighttime missions is that your Airfield lights arnt on at landing in campaign mode.
POL and the rest of the team are aware of it,and he has mentioned that there looking into it.
For this reason alone I would hold off starting a campaign in August 1917,because it's virtually impossible to land at night unless you use autopilot...
Which for me kills the immersion.

I've had missions every day with my Gotha career Gad.

No problem mate,I really like flying the Gotha it's a beast of a plane,but like I said I'd hold off on a night campaign until the OBD lads can hopefully sort out the home airfield landing lights issue in campaign mode
