I have to agree with JJJ65 that on certain levels BOB2 beats WOFF as a single player game due to BOB2 indepth strategic layer. I'd love to have that sort of operational layer to WOFF3 where you can jump into any squadron you've set missions for. A layer where you can not only be a pilot but also Boom Trenchard himself.

However if you just take say a single player squadron experience then WOFF prob comes out on top here.

Cannot disagree with JJJ65 or your above post Wodin, the newer 2.13 patch for BOB2 was a great success, very easy to install aswell.

We have Falcon BMS for modern day combat,BOB2 for our WW2 southern England and Channel fix,and the fantastic WOFF for our WW1 fix.
All great sims with fantastic single player campaigns.

For what it's worth a really well done Pacific campaign with carrier ops and id be all over it cheers

Respecfully, I have a different take on that Rowan/A2A BOB campaign. For my personal preference, I think that campaign is an overly complicated mess and no longer fly that sim because of it. That's just my opinion after personal experience with the sim and not an attack at all; obviously, many people like it. Although I'd rather other theatres than BoB, I'd gladly buy any OBD version because I know the campaign would be more in line with my preferences.

+1 Adger. PTO is my #1 wanted theatre. Can't do it all at one shot but it could be parceled out into many different areas, just as 777 is doing with BOS/BOM/BO?. The next one just adds to the former.

I'm hoping for either a WWII PTO For my #1 choice or Koren War jets for my #2 choice, but whatever OBD does I will be interested in it just because I know their passion for details and incredible customer support. Now we just have to wait the "two weeks" to find out what it really is.

+1 on Korea, Hellshade! But I say don't limit it to just jets. Many awesome recips in that war, too. F-51, B-26, Skyraider, Corsair, Firefly, Sea Fury, Tigercat, B-29. cheers B-26 ground pounding missions? Be still my heart! But F9F Panther CV ops would be awesome, too.

Africa/med first choice, then Korea, but the pacific would be my very last option.

Have to say I am a little disappointed that no one has complained that an autographed photo of myself in WW1 flying attire has been apparently left out of these ongoing pipedreams.

Here I am! And if we are trading snapshots of us in flying togs, here's one of yours truly from about six or so years ago modeling, (for my youngest daughter), a flight jacket from my USAFSS days.

And how about this one: a scan of an old Kodachrome actually from my USAFSS days, circa 1975, in my service blues trying to look all cool in my Foster Grant's.

a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away ...

Damn Olham, now you've blown my cover.

Duke, it is rather amazing that I've kept that full head of hair. My dad was bald by the time he was 30.

Robert, as you can see, being able to grow a chin blanket is no long an issue.
