We tried a new mission today. The idea was to transfer the wingman/formation tactics learned in the basic training missions into a somewhat more realistic mission environment. I'd say we did pretty well, although flying in formation while searching for targets, communicating, planning and executing attacks still is a pretty daunting task, both for the flight leads and wingmen.

Which quickly lead to a couple of new ventilation holes in my Hawg and a master caution alarm..
Got back to base in one piece though.
