Any chance we could just get the tracer mod posted on the website along with the other mods. Seems like it's fairly popular. +1

Everybody, we are going to hold off posting these tracer mods to the webpage for now because these are really old mods and they haven't been converted to WOFF3. They modify the effects.xml file and the new goodies in WOFF3 use that file extensively and these mods could cause problems. If you are ok with taking that chance you can still PM me and I'll send them to you. ???!!!?? You can issue the mod while OBD can not?! Sorry, I do not understand. This MOD is working unofficially for many users, but officially does not? Is it just intention of OBD to suppress this mod? Is it difficult to convert it to WOFF3? I doubt. Sorry, guys, but standpoint of OBD to WOFF modding is rather strange to me (I am not talking only about this mod, I have in mind, for example, why OBD cancelled the possibility of OldHat's mission editing in WOFF3? Can they explain it?). I can feel the OBD is too jealous and vain about its baby (WOFF) that they disallow any auspicious 3rd party improvement and feature addons. They just cry because of limited resources, small team capability, but refuse any offer to help. I tried to keep my tongue back for too long, but that was enough to bear. Now you can kick me as you want. I am retiring.

Well JJJ65 you are totally wrong, WOFF3 has cockpit damage, I spent 4 months of my life putting it in to 80 aircraft so I know. But with an old effects.xml - no cockpit damage will show, and other issues we fixed or altered to work with new shaders by AnKor won't work properly either. So no it's not compatible with WOFF3.
If someone wants to make it so, great I'll put it on the web, but right now they need disclaimers (and many people don't read). I don't have time to work on mods. Maybe you or a modder makes it compatible with WOFF1, 2 and 3, then I'll post it - I am the one answering support questions on mods, and I don't want to do it. As per some posts on here on the forum that started as a "WOFF doesn't work" then ended up with "oh I had a part of a mod installed oops" after I spent several posts in my evening answering just to find out actually it's nothing to do with us but a mode that broke it. Now imagine how many people are NOT in a forum or never post who will instead contact support (usually me).

It sounds as challenge . Can you, Banjoman, send me the old mod? I will look on it and see what is so difficult to alter three (3) effects.xml files in WOFF.
