I was mistaken on one thing.
I have both the EAW.ini file and d3d Windower set to 1024 x 768, not 800 x 600.
I switched to 800 x 600 to see what happens and the game runs fine, just in a smaller window.
When I switch to Glide I get the "Glide Init" error in both window sizes.
Also, couldn't get that utility to run. Clicked on it, got the hour glass icon for 5 seconds or so and then nothing.
Tony, I sent you my attempt to get the HR Mosquito working in Glide mode. Really all I need is confirmation that the experiment was successful or not so could you test fly it and check for the reversed elements?
If it is successful we would have the ability to fix single engine planes using the Buffalo template and twin engine planes using the Mosquito template.
Heck, even paranoids have enemies.

I will check out the Mossie Because of screen and map corruption in Win 7 I use the d3d windower. However, I have height and width both set to zero in the windower configuration This forces it to display in the natural resolution: However, as the selection screens are 1024x768 this might not be appropriate in your case
